I see a lot of pens with a custom finial, which looks sharp. How would one go about doing a custom finial on a pen. Thanks in advance for the help

Jerald, after you try 1 or 2 you will have the hang of it. I use a wood dowel in a collet chuck on ca the small blank piece.
Give it a try, it adds to the look of the pen and are a talking point if selling.
