Putting the clip back onto a Pentel...???

Thus far, getting that original clip back onto the Pentel has been the biggest headache. I'm having a hard time doing it without marring the finish.

How are you guys doing it?

I flip it upside down on the originalpentel sleeve, then line up the ends and slide it on to the new from the old. Similar to what Chuckie does, but I don't have a special tool for it.

10-4---- I like the tool that's used. I may try to modify it so that it laps over the top part, but then again it may stretch the clip too much.

I did myself an inserting tube tool with corian and use it to widening ( open it up ) the pentel pencil clip to fit the pen barrel

Slide s plastic straw from the bottom on the pencil, stopping just short of where you want the clip. Slide the clip over the straw till it comes off on the wood. Slide the straw off!

What a great idea. Can't wait to try this. The darn clip has been a challenge.

I don't have a straw handy, but I'm fairly sure the Pentels I tend to make are too fat for a straw, lol.
