Purple PC Pansy

I was inspired by pens done by Toni she'd shown on another website. So I tried to make a few pansy pens for the LA Pen Show last month. This is one of them. The other 4 sold. The finish on this one isn't great - so I'm keeping it for myself. :biggrin:

That is Very cool. My wife would love somthing like that. are thos painted? or stickers or something? I like them.

They aren't painted. I made a "cane" with the various colors altering a few shapes (purple half moons) and put them together so I could see the "pansy" flower on the end of the cane - like looking at the end of a Christmas cane with a tree in the center.

Then, after I cooled the cane in the frig an hour or so, I rolled it down the the size I wanted and sliced it to the depth I needed for that pen.

Wow nice detail you are truly gifted. It seems everything I try and make turns brown from to much mixing!!!
