That is absolutely excellent! Looks like a great finish! How much sanding and what kind of grits did you use? I'd really like to try these when I have a little more time at the lathe.

Nice pen, thanks!

Thanks everyone, appreciate all the comments!

Michael, after turning I wet sanded with 320 real light and then switched over to MM from 1500 to 12000. But starting with the 1500 I used the hut polish to sand with through the first four grits and that seem to help a lot with small scratches, or I just got lucky, who knows? [:D]

Lou, what, you think I'm going to jump on the first fairy I find and come out there? [:D]

You could improve your picture by adding a napkin to soak up the drool! Beautiful pen!!

I think the napkin would make a prettier background as well [:D]
What happened to the white [?] I need to go to your web site again
and see what's going on [:D]

Anthony, I'm always so nice to you and you just keep hitting me below the belt. I just don't get it. [:D]

Well if you need help keeping your mouth shut or your wife is to busy and you managed some how to get off that short lead, I can let her use my belt to put a tourniquet around your neck. [:D][:p]

Thanks Wayne, on both counts! [:D] I've been sitting back just letting the line out a little at a time, just waiting to set the hook. [:D] But I'm sure he's not done yet, he just can't help himself. [;)]

Yeah, that was a little low, even you wouldn't do that. duh [:D]

Very nice RT . I know that the pic just doesn't do the pen justice because , as I found out , the Celluloid material has so much going for it , it just doesn't show up properly in a photo .

R.T. If I were you, I wouldn't sleep lightly. Anthony will attack when you least expect it. LOL Ya, He'll be back I think that he's just sitting back dreaming up a good one.
