Have you carved your pumpkin/s with the kids yet?

Here's ours we did this morning.

Really, I always just use a nice steak knife. Areas that are close to one another, you cut one line of every one of them, then come back and cut the next line. This reduces the risk of breaking the line between big time.

Awesome design! Did you use a template or just draw it freehand?

Oh yeah! Protip: Use a dry erase marker to mark out your cuts first. Wipes of SUPER easy with a wet rag.

I will post the next one. I probably need to do a different one for a change. The year previous, I had it surrounded by empty liquor bottles. Didn't seem appropriate after I quit getting loaded.

It's pretty boring, actually. Just go to the store and buy a pumpkin pie. I HATE cooking. Like nothing else.

The Beuker Pumpkins

The kids are into their own things. Not art as they are from templates, but some skills involved.

My wife and my daughter carved these yesterday. When I went to take the picture I saw what my daughter had added tonight on the side of the second one. :crying:
My Dad passed away last year on Halloween!
