Dave I noticed that as well. I had my 3/8" bit wobble just a little when I drilled the blank and it ended in catastrophe when I turned it down. It was sad too because it was one of my last cherry burl blanks.

Nice pens. I like the executive kit because it is a nice small size - only issue is the kit gives you very little oops room (the final thickness of the wood/acrylic is quite thin).
