New pen turner, first post. I was wondering how you protect high gloss polished acrylic pen blanks? I buffed them to a mirror finish and they look great right off the lathe but scuff up a little after handling. Thanks in advance for your help.

Hey Rob...welcome!
Other than the polishing, I use Hut...there are many others, I'm not sure there is anything you can do. Acrylic is usually pretty hard stuff!

Don`t carry them in your pocket with coins and a key chain . They should not scuff up from normal handling while writing or laying them down , unless perhaps you used a wax to buff them up . It would wear off , perhaps exposing areas that were poorly sanded .

I use Rejex. Can apply as many coats as you want as long as you wait 12 hours between coats. I just apply one.
