Problem with Gatsby from PSI

Of recent, I have problems with the Gatsbys from PSI. I love the style, but in a few of my kits the surround on the top of pen is loose, so there is no way to turn the mechanism.

I spoke to PSI and they sent me some replacement tops but they have the same problem; anyone else experience this?

I have decided to switch to the Sierra which is similar in design and am looking for a recommended supplier. Any suggestions?

I do a lot of Gatsby and have not had a problem like that. Every now and then the transmission will unscrew but that's a easy fix. The transmissions on the sierras is what I had a lot of problems with til the guys at the pen shop showed me the Gatsby's.
