Prize issue question

Eugene (Elmostro) offered a donation of four $25 coupons off of the purchase of $100 or more as a prize...

I don't think this will work, as it requires the 'winner' to spend $75 from his own pocket to claim the $25 prize. I wanted to know what others thought of this, before I respond to Eugene...

Or am I wrong in thinking that this isn't a good prize to offer? We have asked that all donations be $25 or more, so that each prize is 'worthwhile' - I think this one fails on that regard...

I would have to agree. Some would think it great but some don't spend $75 at a time. Boy am I glad I don't have your job.

I tend to agree also. If he wants to offer a $25 CG, that's fine, but no strings should be attached.
