Got this pressure paint pot from work after this idiot kept leaving water based radiator paint in it every night and weekend. Needless to say, never got cleaned. But when it did get cleaned out, it would get sand blasted along with the sprayer. Sin e I'm the only maintenance personnel, I made them buy a new setup after firing this guy for theft. It's a Dayton pot and needing ALOT of elbow grease. But in the long run, it'll be worth it. So what do you guys think? Score or no score. Plus any ideas in cleaning it up cause stripper does not work on this paint at all, or even thinner.

I agree. Definately a score as long as it maintains a seal. Cleaning not needed unless you just want a pretty pot. If so you may have to use a sand blaster. Careful on the edge and lid. Make sure the mating surfaces are clean and free of pits so it will still seal.

I can say that the lid has a rubber seal and if I need to, I can weld the pit and resurface the rim for a good seal. And I even took my oxy-acc torch and still not wanting to clean up very easily. Bit it is coming off with that.
