Well you guys have called me to the dark side! I have been so impressed with the pens and other items I've seen on this website but to me the most impressive things I've see are the home brewed cast pen blanks you folks have created. Now it's time for me to jump into the Frey. This is the pressure system I put together this afternoon. I think I've covered all the bases but if you guys spot a problem with this rig please let me know.

The pot is an old Sears pressure pot that has been pressure tested and there were no leaks and the seal is in great shape. This pot is from the 80s but was never used, it sat in my Father in Laws garage since he purchased it. I installed a pressure gauge and a shut off valve on the pot so I can shut of and trap pressure inside. There's a press relief and discharge / drain valve on the lid as well. The regulator has a gauge and I installed an oil / water drain between the compressor and the regulator. I'll start making my silicone molds tomorrow. Thanks for viewing!

Looks neat. On another note how are you making your molds. I have one curing right now how it turns out well.

Chris!
I'll be building a 4 tube mold by making a plug with 4ea. 7/8" x 7/8" x 5" wood bars that I will attach to a piece of plywood with 1/2" separation between the wood bars and a 1/2 space for the outer border. I will attach a plywood perimeter about 1.75 inches in depth. The individual pieces are all wrapped with saran wrap prior to assembly. I'll be using 100% silicone sealant to fill the plug and let it cure.
