What are you planning to cast?

Plain blanks don't really need a pressure pot. I have mine but really have not used it for any casting lately.

The "No Bubbles Casting" thread will show you how to cast without it. And it works!!!

Just a few thoughts on ways to save some money.

Besides, most here use the Harbor Freight pot that you can get for less than $60. You could save some money and get a pot that still works.

Thanks much. I will look at that one too.

I'd likely start with plain blanks. I'd love to try and cast some closed end blanks with an item in the tip. Probably try bottle stoppers at some point too.

Thanks for the reference post. I'll read up on it now.
