Prairie Rattlesnake Skin

Casted several prairie rattlesnake skin blanks and decided to turn a slimline as a test. The thick skin and thin wall left zero room for error. I think the larger blanks will work well.

I would have opted to a no-center-band style to have 2 less thin ends.

Or use a different slimline such as the Streamline, trimline or comfort pen.

Tanning ones own skin allows some control on the thickness.

I cannot take credit for the skinning and tanning. With apologies to REO Speedwagon, I got it from a friend who got it from a friend who heard that I'd been messing around with snakeskins.

VERY NICE! Just a quick note - I'm one who likes Slims. I bought a hundred and fifty a while ago and just ran out with my last two request for slims.
