PR finish?

Not sure whether this should be posted here or casting/stabilization. I've been casting with PR and wonder what anyone uses for finishing their castings. Thing is.... I've been putting "extras" in my PR (pom poms, silk flowers...) I've MM to 12,000 then applied BLO/CA on top, and a final polish of the Novus System (3 steps). Any suggestions?

Sand to 1000, wet sand with MM, buff with white diamond, then with HUT UltraGloss Plastic Polish, Flitz. I know that some of the steps are going backwards, but not totally back to the beginning. I sometimes skip the white diamond and HUT and go to Flitz after the MM. You will soon get the feel of what you need to do and in what order.

I have used CA on PR but I no longer do. Sometimes I stop after the wet sanding with MM.

It was nice meeting you at WoodWorld last Saturday. Your pens are really nice. I saw the pompom pen and several others in person...and her homemade ice cream is delicious.

pretty simple

Sand to 400
Wet sand with all 6 colors of the "Plastics Sanding Kit" you can buy from CSUSA and other places.
Finish with Hut Ultra Gloss.

This is my regimen for The Princess's PR blanks.
 
For what it is worth, I have been using a plastic headlight polish from the auto store. It works great for polishing all my acrylics. First I wet sand to 2800 to 3200 and then go to the polish.I have had to experement with different types but the best one I found is "Meguiar's" "Plasticx" clear plastic cleaner and polisher. It is made for plastic headlights,plastic boat windows,convertible windows,hard plexiglass surfaces ,scratched CD surfaces. Give it a try and let me know how you like it.
