Has anyone ordered the larger sets of these? Specifically:
AC-300E - Earth pigment sample set
AC-300P - Primary pigment sample set
AC-300S - Secondary pigment sample set
AC-300M - Master pigment sample set

I'm curious what colors and quantity come in each set. I've used the "Ask Zardoz" feature of their website to ask this question twice, and so far have not received any response.

If no one knows, and there is interest here, I'll follow up with the contents after giving the company a call.

Thanks,
Draken

I got the earth pigment assortment, along with a bunch of other stuff. The samples come in small jars about 2 oz. Since I got a bunch of pigments, I'm not sure exactly which ones came with the set or which ones I got separately, but here's what I think it includes:
- Raw Umber, Burnt Umber
- Raw Sienna, Burnt Sienna
- Iron Oxide: red, orange, yellow
- Venetian Red
- Van Dyke (a dark brown)
- Chromium Oxide Green
- Graphite
- Bone Black
- Titanium White (not sure if this was part of the set though)
I'm pretty happy with the mix, all are muted colors and met my expectations of 'earth tones'. The 2 oz. size is quite generous, enough to make lots of castings, assuming you're using a pen blank sized mold. In all, I think it's a very good deal for a dozen or so different colors.

I called Douglas & Sturgess and the secondary pigment sample (AC-3000S) contains the following in a 1 oz. sampler size:
zinc oxide
cadmium light orange
cadmium medium orange
cadmium maroon
ultra marine violet
quinacridone magenta
cobalt violet
phthalo blue
phthalo green
manganese black

They also said if you want other pigments in a sampler size to mention it in the comments part of the order form.

Thanks guys, very useful info. I'd imagine the master set is a combination of the three smaller sets, seems to have the whole range covered. How many ounces of PR would an ounce of powder color, assuming a moderate degree of coloration?

Cheers,
Draken
