I don't know if I'd say it works perfect . I find it very hard to fully mix with the PR , it clumps up and the clumps are very hard to break up . By having to stir it so much you introduce allot of air and end up having problems with bubbles . Also these are just straight colors if you want any shimmer or shine in the blank you have to use Pearl X .
I use mica powders from www.coastalscents.com . They come in a rainbow of colors and shimmer and shine like crazy . They are more costly (about $3 or $4 an ounce) but a little goes a long way and is worth every cent .
 
+1 to what Butch said. Powdercoat works great in solid colors, but anything outside of that you need something a little finer and not as prone to clumps. I use PC with great success for all of my black acrylics, and even though I have no desire myself to do swirls and mulitcolor casting, the PC wouldn't work nearly as well as pearl-ex
