I improved my tube holder by adding small pieces of spring to the bolts. The tube doesn't set down on the nut this way and there is no resistance between the tube and the broiler tray.

I powder coated the tube for this pen with white. I used 8255 labels as I think that is what Steve (stevers) found worked the best. Ignore the quality of the image, as it is terrible. It is just something I was working with. I am happy with the way it turned out.

You should be happy Steve, that white is brilliantly white. Nice job on the casting. You are really pushing me toward powder coating. I'm also looking forward to my first Sierra.

Looking good. Just got my poweder coater in this week. If the weather holds out, its on the list for the weekend.
