Not sure if many know this but my postal lady said that the flare rate prices were going up. I think the small is only .10 not sure what the others are going up to.

I know it's a bashing subject, but I think the flat rate box is the best thing to happen to woodturners since VSD and between the center bushings. Beats UPS or Fed Ex for price and time. Never had one go bad and I send out about 30 a year of all sizes.

Noticed this while filling orders between yesterday and today. Sure made me do a double take, I didn't even get warned by Kathy or Janice at the PostOffice.

probably small price increases

Those of us who include postage in our pricing might have to add a few cents to the price eventually. I'm not yet but expect to before the year is out.

True

I just wish they were just a little bigger....I use hundreds of them per year and it is faster packing and I've never had one lost in the mail (to USA addresses).

I hope you realize how spoiled you are having access to cheap postal rates. In Canada the prices are more then double, you have to provide your own box, and have take it to the post office. Enjoy it while you can.

That is understandable given the huge physical size of Canada and the low population. You folks are pretty spread out so I can easily understand how it could cost more for each piece of mail than here.

Just a comment about the USPS... the rates are still very good for the service, when your packages get there. In the last two years I have had 7 lost packages to US address, and two of them were insured. Getting money on an insured package is a PITA form the USPS. Of the 7 packages only two were in the same state.

Glad and mad to hear others get there packages delivered with out fail.
