I read a post here some time back about these boxes. I have ordered 3 from Pennstate on the 11th of this month and found out just a few moments ago that they "should" be shipped today. Anyway, someone had posted another company that carried these that did not need cleaning. Does anyone know what company that might be. Any help on this would be greatly appreciated. I didn't think Pennstate would take this long to get them out the door. I understand about the time of the yearbut hey, if there short handed i'm sure there is someone in that area that could use a job. As always, any help is greatly appreciated and i don't mean to bitch, sorry.

If you placed the order on the 11th it was the second to last day of their Free Shipping promotion so I'm willing to bet they are crazy busy filling all those orders. I placed an order the same day as you and I fully expect a delay due to the promotion.

your right but i've ordered close like this before and received in 3-5 days. Oh well, nothing i can do at this point. I would like to know the correct exact dimensions, that way i could go on and build the boxes and then just clean them up and install the doors when i get them. Anyway, i'm waiting. Thanks for resaponding.

Build this nostalgic Mail Truck Bank and capture the imagination of a child! This easy-to-build plan uses our Solid Brass Mailbox Door #55358 to commemorate the stalwart little truck that kept America's mail moving during the 1920's. The Solid Brass Mailbox Door features a glass window, 5-pin cylinder cam lock, removable nameplate holder and two keys (all doors keyed differently). Door and frame measure 3-5/8'' W x 5'' H. Mounts in opening approx. 3-3/16'' W x 4-5/8'' H. With powder-coated finish. this is from Rockler woodwoking site
