Does anyone own the variable speed bench grinder (Lowe's $70)?

Its lowest speed is 2000 RPM. Is that slow enough for buffing?

I own it, but I use it for its intended purpose. For buffing, I've heard good things about this HF buffer.

Not sure talking about 6" or 8" PC variable speed bench grinder at Lowes. Lowes list the 8" grinder for $99 but not available in my area. Lot of woodturners bought the 8" grinder when cost $119 but guess being replaced at Lowes by Delta's 8" VS for $129.

I would ask at store near you if be getting more or is this a close out price!

Woodcraft usually has one for around $99. Speed is about 1750 RPM.
