Anyone know of a place where I can find an old porcelin doorknob and lock set?

In the past, someone replaced a door in our house, and it's rather anachronistic to have only one new doorknob in the house.

I keep trying on ebay, but get outbid at the last moment...any other online shops that you can think of that have old house parts?

Yea, just come to my house, we still use them. When we bought this old house I considered replacing all of them and the doors until I found out how much they were worth.

Seriously, there is a guy in Heath, Ohio that I'm sure has what you need. The name of the place is Loewendicks, ph# 740-323-3127.
He's been the demolition business since 1978. He salvages everything from buildings they tear down, Everything. Went there once to look for old work benches and he probably had 30 of them. Anything that's ever been put into a structure he's got. He's got several buildings full of stuff and it would take American Pickers a month just to go through all of it.
