Polyurethane Anyone?

I have read about laquer, shellac, ca, enduro, friction polish......Does anyone use polyurethane? I did a eucalyptus burl and am working on a curly hard maple with a bit of bloodwood glued on the end. Talk to me about the ups and downs of using poly.

Enduro is Polyurethane but it is a commercial grade with hardners in it. The regular poly doesn't have the hardners.

Wayne is correct. Regular poly will not harden as well.
