How do you prep/turn polymer clay? I've been wanting to buy a few to try out, but not sure how to actually turn them.

Thanks for the info,
Nic

I flatten out the clay, roll tube and clay together, don't glue, cut any overage off the end of the tube. Now, bake in a toaster oven to the manufacture's temp, when done square up the ends like any other blank. Sand then finish. I use a CA finish then sand and MM as normal. Hope this helps.

I was looking into what to do once I buy a pre-made tube from a supplier on here, but you covered that I think. Sand it to shape then CA finish.

I think pre-made tubes come pretty close to the right shape, you just need to lightly sand and finish.

I've made a couple myself, and if they were too big they turned with a skew quite easily.
