filler.JPG I'm wondering if anyone uses these plunge type adaptors and if so how do you like them?

I bought a few; the ones I got do not fit properly on the feed nipple of the nib units I tried them with.

The needle is very good though - and if you look at the white plastic part, you can see it has a step, so it does fit into the opening of the Schmidt converters I normally use. Getting into the bottom of the ink bottles is much easier with these.

So - I recommend having one, but not using the converter.

I have generally seen those type of converters used to either fill used cartridges with ink from a bottle or to eyedropper a pen that can handle that. I did not think they were made to be used with a pen directly. I would personally be wary of using on on a pen since one slip and you could accidentally press the piston and squirt ink everywhere. This is one of those times when the twist piston on a regular converter seems to make more sense to me.
