Plastic Polish

Could you tell me where I can find plastic polish and a few good brand names

I use "Finesse it" car polish readily available at most auto supply stores. But it's the sanding (400 dry, 800 wet and 1200 wet) that gets me to that stage. any polish will make it shine, but the scratches have to be removed. You can also use MGuires scratch remover and then their finish polish, or any of the distributors here that sell plastic polish.

Don't know what brands you have in Ireland, but any good automotive scratch remover and polish should work just fine. I personally use MGuires.

I also use Hut product but like Monty found auto scratch remover or headlight lens cleaner works just as well.

You can actually find this at glass stores and I have seen it at motorcycle shops for polishing the windshields.

Made in USA but it seems the parent company is Dutch

Simichrome is best I have used in 45 years of plastic fabrication. Works great on metal also. Common toothpaste will also do a good job.
