I got my Russ Fairfield DVD's and plaque on Saturday. They are both awesome!! Thank you to both Alfred for the DVD's and Charlie for the plaque. I've already watched a couple of the DVD's and they are great! The plaque is amazing. It is much nicer than I had imagined, the engraving of Russ Fairfield is super cool.

Hey Ben!!!

Pictures, man??????

Charlie did make the plaques, and we appreciate his expertise--but they were paid for by the IAP. (Your planning team at work!!)

Ben, thanks for the fedback. It's when you watch those video that you can really appreciate Russ's talent and how ahead of us he was on penturning. Giving away those DVD during the bash was the best way i could honor his memory and thank him for the influence he had on my turning career.

I'm sorry Alfred!!!

I should have said above, the DVD set was donated by our own "Arioux"!! This donation was one of the factors that made the "Russ Fairfield" contest come to reality. The IAP "bash planners" are very grateful to Alfred!!!
Thank YOU!!!

I edited my post and forgot to add back in the part where I gave my thanks to the IAP. I understand that the plaques were provided by the IAP leadership and that they were funded through the auctions. I really appreciate the plaque and all of planning, producing and bidding that went on to make them a reality. I'll take a picture when I get home from work today and post it so all can see how great it is.

YES!.. .those plaques weren't paid for by me.. I just made the marks on
them. Glad it has you approval, though.

I have no working camera here, so if you get a chance to take pics, I'll
save them. (for posterior, you know.. )

AT least neither of us is from Maine, where the women are safe unless they wear white gloves  and the sheep have left for Wisconsin

Oh hey Lenny, what is the difference between a moose, and girl from Maine?

The women have flannel shirts!

Here are the pics-
