The coming week is full of deadlines for several BASH contests, and while it may take you a few days to get your Antler, Bone, or Horn Pen, you can spend your cold New England Weekend trying to Match Pens with PenMakers. Don't forget to finish up your awesome Pen Blanks you created, and light a fire under your youg-uns to get their Youth Pens finalized!! If you are waiting on some adhesive to cure on your Kitless Pen Entry, you can kick out a quick pen for the Git-R-Done contest (and if Kitless is not something you're ready for, you can always go for the Limited Modification Contest). If you're an advanced pen maker and want a real challenge, see if you can cram your creativity into a Simple Ballpoint Pen, but if that just doesn't work for you, you can always fall back on making a Freestyle Pen that makes everyone scratch their heads.
Now all that is well and good, and any one of those will tie up several hours of your weekend, but if you're into efficiency and speed, think of how fast the exposure is on your camera!!! 1/60th of a second (heck, even you guys with good tripods may only go down to 4 or 5 second exposures...) is WAY less time than it takes to even FIND THE POST for one of the Daily Puzzles, but could still land you one of the fantastic prizes in the CORNERSTONE CONTESTS* of the 2015 IAP Birthday Bash, the Pen Photography Contest and the Shop Life Photo Contest. I have it on good authority that as of right now at least one of these contests is ripe for the picking!!!! Don't wait till the last minute and get left behind because of some random network problems. When it comes to voting in the IAP Birthday Bash, as they say in Chicago, Vote Early, Vote Often, but for the entries, since you can only enter once, we'll just leave that at: Enter Early!!!!
*not to be confused with the now expired Trivia Contest, which is the Corner Drug Store of the 2015 IAP Birthday Bash...
