I am planning on cutting some blanks this weekend from some air dried mesquite that has been sitting around since 2007.
These are halve logs that are between 16-20 inches long.
Any interest in blanks besides pen blank size? I am thinking stopper and call blanks and perhaps some Peppermill blanks.
I would prefer to leave them in longer lengths to maximize usage for the end user in the larger sizes.
Because of the normal wind check in mesquite not likely any bowl blanks will come out of these logs.
