Received my PITH pen late last week and have just managed to get some decent photos of it that do it a little justice.It is hard for me to capture the grain and chatoyance, that is going on in this pen,in photos.
I have never made any of these pens so it is a complete first for me, It is a Navigator Rollerball made with Cambera from South Africa and has 8 coats of CA/BLO,mm to 12000 then novus 2 polished.
It feels really nice in the hand and has a really nice balanced feel to it. There was also some really nice packaging with it,which again I have never seen or heard of some of the woods.
So a great big Thanks goes out to Kevin( aka Leviblue) for this beautiful pen and blanks.
