I finished up this pen today: it is a piston filler made from some spectacular looking vintage acetate that I dug out from my stash. The ink window is made from some amber alumilite I poured, and the grip and barrel finial are solid brown acrylic. Metalwork is bronze, which I fabricated, and the grip is threaded for a Pelikan 200/400 nib. This is a smallish pen, and turned out much better than I had expected.

That has to be the nicest looking pen I have seen. I saw it on instagram just before, and it still looks as good this second viewing.

Fantastic match of your findings to the material -- even though the pattern in the acetate is more art nouveau than deco, the combination is superb.

Beautiful artistry. I love your metal work. The color combination is also superb between each element.

Thanks for sharing.
