Some information that I found out today. If anyone is doing a pen for Breast Cancer Awareness month use only the standard pink ribbon.
The ribbon use by the Susan G. Komen foundation is copyrighted.
We are in touch with the foundation now it is just a timing thing when we roll out our pen for the foundation.
The standard pink ribbon everyone use is not copyrighted here in the States. What I did find out is if you sell your pen in Canada it is copyrighted there. You will have to pay royalties to the Canadian government. The Susan G. Komen foundation believes it is around 100k to use just the standard ribbon in Canada. Now if you are make a limited amount and giving them away I do not think that is an issue.
