I got this from BigRob,and it is some of the nicest,easiest wood I have ever turned,only problem for me is it's pink,not real sure about the hardware either but it's a done deal now.

Great work! Watch it for cracking, though. It is a relatively sensitive wood, with respect to heat, from my experience.

Finish looks great! Agree with Can about the cracking. Hold onto it for a while just in case. I rough turn PI and let it sit for a few weeks before I finish it. That allows me to fill in any cracks if they occur.
PI looks good with satin kits, but IMHO, looks really good in black titanium.

The plating is ok to me. Not the ideal but the overall pen and the finish makes you forget some things. Like alcohol and dates[
