Glad I waited to take the picture. The color has improved since I finished this pen.

Yes it can. I think I blew out a half dozen before I had the first completed pen. I found slower drill speeds to help with pink ivory.

I also wait until the blank is cool to glue in the tubes. I had had a couple that drilled fine and the split after the tubes were in.
