I have promised one other person some pine cones as soon as things settle down and we are in to our new home. Give me one month and remind me, I will send some. I think I am even with paying forward but would rather people owe me than for me to owe people. My wife reminds me to ask for postage. The last series that I Mailed forward got a little expensive.

This is a Big Bear Sugar Pine. The core seems to be pretty healthy.

Those are nice big cones. I turned a couple of pens out of long leaf cones that I had to buy. We don't have any big pine cones here in the buckeye state. I know when you cut them on a band saw the seeds fly everywhere!
