Pine cone ornament

I got some pine cone blanks from crabcreekind a loooong time ago, and finally got around to turning one. The young man makes a nice blank. Finished with thin ca to seal the exposed cone.

Thanks guys. It was a Christmas gift for my mom. She loved it, so all good. I must say that the pic doesn't do it justice. There's a depth to the blank that is simply amazing in person.
