Pierced Oregon Myrtle HF

Pierced and Airbrushed Oregon Myrtle Hollow Form. Around 6" (15cm tall). Finished with EM6000 waterborne lacquer. This was a struggle to finish as it has been so humid lately that the finish was misbehaving.

Eric, that is an impressive HF! I'm not sure I like the blue paint, but that's just me. Congrats on it being in the mag, too!

Very impressive piece. Beautiful wood, great turning and piercing, I personally would not have done the blur top. To me it detracts from the rest of the piece. Just my opinion.
