Pepper Mill Novice needs help

Well actually I'm less than a novice since i have not attempted one yet. I purchased a few pepper mill kits from Woodcraft 8 months ago and have yet to try to make one. Does anyone out there know of any place where I can get some tips on how to get started. I would like to make one for the LOML
