Very nice, Don - though I prefer the end of the barrel that abuts the nib to be slightly chamfered to eliminate the step. (I think I must hold them closer to the business end than everyone else!)

None...just unscrew the tip and the mechanism comes right out. I attached a write up I did for this one. Hope it helps.
