Pencil Kit

Have a customer who wants a pen and pencil set for her husband for a birthday gift. I have stayed away for pencils because of the horror stories that I have read about on here. Can someone give me a "good" pencil that they have sold with good results. See is dead set on having one for him. Thanks

I recently made a vertex pencil, got it from woodturningz, very solid, i like the click mechanism very well, easy to assemble, shows off the blank well, i have read that others like the pen version as well.

The Perfect Fit is a very good pen or pencil. They are Berea kits - Beartoothwoods and Berea Hardwoods stock them in several platings.

My customer like the vertex pen of course the make it in everything but gold which she wants. Can the pencil converter for the parker sytle fit in the Vertex Click Pen?
