Todays project was replenishing my stock of pen stands. I have made these from various woods, but hands down, oak is what people prefer. I thought about offering these on Etsy, but with shipping costs and Etsy taking their cut, wouldn't really be a good fit. I sell these for $20.00 stand alone or if they buy a pen, they can buy one for $$10.00.

Those do look nice! Is there a lot of waste left over?
I get one from a 5.5 inch square. I could nest them if I didn't use my circle jig, but the jig makes them repeatable. So yes there is a little, the way I do them, but really not bad.
