Pen stand idea

Take some cypress limbs 1 foot long strip bark then cut bottom Flat rub linseed oil on whole limb then dry.Drill holes in top to display pens.Would it work what you think?

Have you tried it yet? Best way to know if something works is to give it a try - but it sounds pretty and a nice inexpensive way to make a display!

Took some of our fatherless boys to Bass pro shops and they saw a peice of cypress and asked if this would work their idea.Oh yeah we are going to try.

There's no reason it shouldn't work. I've done something similar for bottle stoppers using a larger section of limb/trunk.
