Just curious to see if anyone has built a pen sled for use on a table saw. I'd like to build one with accurate stops for each length of blank for the various pen styles....

If so, would love to see pictures.

Thank you

Ken

This is what I built. Got the plans from the Internet, maybe this forum can't remember. Works very will and small enough that it is easy to store.

I didn't do one for the table saw, but I did some drawings and I'm having one made for a disc sander. I know several people have trouble with budget drill presses, vices and such not drilling straight into the blank, so when you sand off the end it isn't really square to the tube.
This should solve that.

I have someone in Australia who is going to test it out for me when I get the prototype (already revised it a few times) but if anyone here is willing to post a few measurements it would help make this come together.

There's different equipment out there, so I'm wondering if people have disc sanders, how far from the disc is the center of your miter track?
I'm making this adjustable so people can fit it to their own equipment.

This is not an advertisement to sell anything, it isn't even made yet. And I doubt there's enough people who would want it anyway.
