I think I rmember someone made a pen press that was mounted on a wall.Made out of dark wood. A friend of mine wants to make one but I can't find the pic so I can show him it.

Anybody know where it is?
I tried a search but couldn't find it.

Thanks

Chuck

One of them would be mine I think, although a nicer one was made off my design using corain and some wonderfull maple. I will rebuild mine and use Corian myself for the ram & seat as the UMHW does not hold up as well with use. The ram was made by gluing a bolt countersunk into one piece and a "cap" glued to that and then using the bolt held in a drill chuck on the lathe, was turned round.

Hope this helps! [:D]

The clamp is made by Carr-Lane and the part num,ber is: CL-250-SPC

recon,

This is the press I made using Firefyter-emt's pictures. I used maple and grey Corian, same clamp with modified handel. I have other pictures posted on my photo page. I use mine on the bench, not enough wall space in a good location.
