Like most of you, my shop is part of my garage and I was begging to think my shop had a black hole in it.

No matter where I assemble my pens and a part drops on the floor, it will roll into that black hole. I can see it drop, follow it with my eyes, but in the very short time period it takes to stoop down and pick it up it is gone. Another part has dropped into the black hole. It has vaporized!

At least that is what I though until today when I caught this creature on film. This sucker is fast and will grab the part in an instant and carry it off to heaven knows where.

From now on, I will assemble my pens on the floor so this creature will have no chance of grabbing my parts. Of course, there are the few times I've done this and he has removed a part right out of the plastic bag without any evidence of tampering.

So, let's be careful out there!

I have a few of those here at home. I think they have wings because sometimes they follow me to work. Be sure to post if you find a way to get rid of the little creatures.

His relatives also live in the electrical part of cars. I've worked on plenty that have electrical gremlins that can't be explained!!

Now that you mention it Areaman the little critter maybe in cahoots with my wife. Everytime he steals something he gives it to her then she threatens to take away my toys if "I" can't keep up with them. I'm glad you fellow IAP members helped figure this out I thought I was going blind, forgetful, and crazy.

I reckon I have breeding colony of those little sods all over my house and maybe one in my head too.

Two major lapses in memory today....
I was standing talking to my manager today and I couldn't remember his name. I had the same lapse with my youngest son's name about a week ago too.
