I've been making pens a few years now and some customers have suggested I should logo my pens, I'm wondering if anyone has experience of this that would be suitable for wood and other materials. Thinking about this the requirements would be;
A reproducible logo
A permanent method
A small size to fit on a curved surface
A distinctive mark that communicates the makers identity and branding
A mark that does not spoil the look of the pen
A mark that is suitable for a variety of pen making materials such as wood, acrylic, casein, horn, etc
I am aware that most logos on commercial pens consist of a stamped name, letter, distinctive clip and in the case of luxury makes, something special such as the white colouring on Mont Blanc pens.
