Pen Kit Suggestion

My granddaughter will be graduating high school this June and I would like to make a pen for her. I'm looking for suggestions on a kit for a person with small hands. I don't mind spending $$ for a really nice kit. Thanks.

When building a pen, I try to pick a blank that will match their personality or likes. Then I choose a pen set to go with the blank. With that said, for girls I really like the Majestic Squire. It's an elegant looking, higher end single body ball point pen but it isn't too big and very well made in my opinion.

I second JohnU's suggestion - solid kit, smaller size, easy to size blanks.

Rather than suggest a kit, I'd just like to suggest observing what type of pen she usually writes with and start from there. That's how I try to do it so I know it will be more likely to be used. I have a niece graduating next month. I'm not sure she needs another pen, but we'll see what happens.
