I've been looking at those too - they look like the Hunter tools, etc, with the round carbide cutters. They really are more for hollowing work. You'll do better on spindle work with a skew. I'm seriously considering buying one of the full sized ones though, for hollowing, box turning, etc. The price is unbeatable when you compare it to the "name brand" hollowing tools on the market.

I have the whole set of the larger ones. They do work well. The rounds ones easily make small coves and the square ones are nice for turning harder materials like corian and truestone because you don't have to sharpen them. At one point I used them for almost everything, then made a skew and started using that mostly. They are particulary good if you are sharpening challenged.

Hi, i have a set of three,i bought a long time ago early 90`s
mine have the reg.wood lathe handles. They are called Endoro made in Sweaden. They work well,i nevered shapened them yet.Thats because i never used them much because you have to set tool rest well below mid point to operate and i never felt comfy doing that. Carl
