Pen Box Ideas Needed

I've been disappointed with mass produced same ol same ol pen boxes lately. Anybody make their own pen boxes that they wouldn't mind sharing? Something that doesn't look like the mass produced ones? Looking for something different. Thank you all in advance for your suggestions.

Here's some I made from 5/8" th. Curly/Quilted Maple (Ambrosia Maple at times), 5/8" th. Cherry bottoms and 1/4" th. Walnut sides. They measure 6 1/2" end to end. I make 2 different sizes for a single pen, they are 3" in width, the double pen one is the identical size, just the slots for the pens are in different positions.

I only ask $20.00 for them using them as a value added item to sell a higher end pen!

Lin, I watched thoses videos last week, really sharp lookin. I may give those a try.

Peter, I actually did a few prototypes of your style, just never got around to building a jig. Need to revisit your idea. You did a great job!

Mack, WOW those are sweet! I think i need to prototype something like your as well. The three different woods catch my eye.
