OK, I have started to ship everything through my PayPal account (You're welcome, Ms Whitman).

So, now I would like to find a transaction that happened a couple months ago. The customer was shipped a pen and I would like to know the date and so forth. Of course, the postage was paid to the USPostal Service, which had dozens of transactions in the time frame in question.

So, how do I get a listing of the names or addresses, without having to go through every one, hitting the "detail" button and waiting for it to find each individual transaction?

Get the right answer and there could be a free blank or two in it for you!!!!:D:D:D

Ed on the home page of Pay Pal after you log in click the history button. Then click on the activity button and highlight the type of transaction from the drop down menu then add in the approximate date that the transaction took place. It should show all of your transactions between the dates you put in.

I'm still waiting for my "one free pen per customer" so you ain't gettin` the answer from me bub!

In paypal, you can

1. check history - gives a full list of all your transactions, but you have to click on details for each one of them to find out the one you're looking for, if you don't know the name of the recipient...

Or you can click on payments received if it was in the past 30 days - this is the quick view screen if you want to filter out all the other transactions that aren't from the past 30 days.

You can even sort by date to get down to the rough details, and then check from there...

Ah, forgot the 'couple of months ago' caveat...

I'd suggest going into history, and then sorting from there to 'roughly' when you think it was. You'll still have to click details for each - no going around that, I don't think - but at least you won't have to sort through ten pages of names first!

Ed - Click on "All Account Activity" - on the left side select "Advanced Search" - in "IN" you can select to search by Email, Transaction ID, Last Name, etc. Then enter the item you're searching for in "Search For" and select a date range.

I'll take my free blanks in Alt Jade and Alt Ivory since I just ruined my last ones.[:(]

Even though I use Pay Pal heavily for accepting and making payments, I'm not familiar with their shipping service. Will have to look into it. However, I have found the USPS Click 'N Ship extremly handy. As for PP history, your complete account history is available easily there. I keep paper copies of all my transactions for the tax man.

Of course I will have to confirm that all of this works, but if it DOES, I have a WINNER!!! And, yes, look for your blanks (if I have a mailing address for you - I think I do!)[:D][:D]
