I made this one out of stabilized maple and inserted 3 plugs in the cap. I looked at the monarch and dinero pens but I don't really like the design on the ends.

Jason, can you tell me if the internal threads on that pen kit are metal or plastic?
It also looks like the threads are flat rather then V shaped.

The threads inside the cap are plastic and the threads on the pen are pretty flat. It seems to hold together decent, but time will tell.
